Architectural Details

This is the work that tends to look simple after it is finished. The part that matters is usually the layout, the reveal, the transition, and the fit against the room that is actually there.

The through-line isn't the category, it's the fit.

Different materials, different rooms, different budgets, same basic problem: the detail has to make sense before it gets built, and it has to survive the real room after it leaves the drawing.

Tell me what you're trying to picture.

Send a few photos, whatever drawings and measurements you have, and a note on what isn't working. I'll tell you straight whether it's the kind of thing I take on — and if it's not, usually who does.
